Why tumbling?
Gymnastics can help children grow physically by improving flexibility, strength, and coordination. It can also enhance their cognitive skills, social skills, and self-esteem. Regular practice of gymnastics can also promote discipline and perseverance in children.

Hi, I'm Hallee, originally from Huntington, West Virginia, but I recently moved to Rockbridge county after spending my early years here. Currently, I am enrolled in a local community college and plan to transfer to Virginia Tech next year. My passion for gymnastics began in Roanoke at Prestige Gymnastics, where I trained before moving to Bozhi's Gymnastics in West Virginia. After a few years of gymnastics and cheering, I decided to explore other sports while continuing to tumble in my free time. In my junior year of high school, I joined the varsity cheer team and was recognized as one of the elite tumblers. The following year, I became the Cheer Captain while maintaining my position as an elite tumbler. Our team competed at the State Competition for two consecutive years, and in my senior year, we traveled to Orlando for the Gameday National Competition. After the competition season ended, I continued to pursue my passion for tumbling by becoming a gymnastics and tumbling instructor at Amp Gymnastics in Huntington, WV. I love teaching kids how to improve their tumbling skills, and it motivates me to see them achieve their goals. |
