Why tumbling?
Gymnastics can help children grow physically by improving flexibility, strength, and coordination. It can also enhance their cognitive skills, social skills, and self-esteem. Regular practice of gymnastics can also promote discipline and perseverance in children.
emiley HarigTumbling InstructorWhy Emiley Harig began dancing at the age of 7 years old, at Valley Dance Theatre. She has studied
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-hop, Acro, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and everything in between. She joined the VDTPC winning competition team at the age of 10, and was awarded the opportunity to be part of the performance company of “World Class Talent Experience” (WCTE), two years in a row. Emiley accepted the spot for the 2018 tour, where she studied under: Adrianne Rodgers and Lindsey Leduc. Throughout High School Emiley performed in musicals with ShenanArts, and took on lead roles in theater projects with the homeschool organization “ACE co-op”. Emiley was a dance class demonstrator/assistant from ages 10-17, and began teaching following graduating High School. She received her Module 1 Acrobatic Arts certification September of 2022. The goal within her classes is to create an atmosphere where creativity is embraced in a fun and organized manner. |
